Denger2 kerja disini enak, kalo lg jalan2 gak punya bensin datangi aja Pom Bensin atau SPBU pasti dikasih, abis klo gak dikasih besok Teranya Bakalan diperiksa dan ketahuan klo ukurannya gak sesuai. Kadang dikasih Uang juga oleh pengusaha SPBU.

Perhaps I need to make a certain clarificatioin on my previous note about the Regina Pacis School, Jakarta As a second batch, meaning joining the RPS as a kindergarten student in 1958 and Grade 1 in 1959, RPS was founded as a one united school, ie THE REGINA PACIS SCHOOL, with medium instructiion conducted in English language. My parents help me to recall my memories back. Roughly around mid 1961 (as the academic year at that time started from August to July of the following year), the RPS was seggregated into the Indonesian section and English section, being the Indonesian government decree disallowing children of the Indonesian citizens to be enrolled in the English language medium school, whilst maintaining the status quo of those children of non Indonesian citizen parents. Not long after that the RPS moved to the rather residential premise at the Jalan Budi Kemuliaan before the final and present location at 1, Jl. Palmerah Utara, Jakarta Barat (commonly known as Slipi). In 1967, instead of 1966 as I mentioned previously, the RPS English section was required to be closed, making JIS (Jakarta International School) the only English language international school in Jakarta or perhaps within the republic that that time. It's now a completely Indonesian school, enrolling students from all walks of life, starting from Kindergarten classes (2 years), Grade 1 to Grade 12/ or to the Indonesians those grades are commonly catagorized as TK, SD(6 years), SMP(3 years Junior High) and SMA(3 years Senior High).

Hi Brian, Having read your query, please let me enlighten you and help you recall your memories of the Regina Pacis School. Looking at the years 1962 to 1965, the Regina Pacis you rememberred could still be located at the Jalan Budi Kemuliaan, a place adjacent to the Jakarta's National Museum or perpendicular to the Presidential Palace. Between 1965 to 1966, the RPS moved to the locatiion depicted on the areal photograph stated as TK-SMU Regina Pacis, a sprawling compound which was once occupied by the RPS Indonesian section building at the front entrance and the RPS English section at the rear. Does my explanation help you to recall or to clarify your doubts; or perhaps help you to crystalize your vague memories back?
